Kamala Harris admitted the presidential elections of 2024 in a somewhat strange way to the Republican opponent Donald Trump.
Aides flowed in in patching Harris’ telephone conversation by Trump, according to a new book, “2024: How Trump Lost the White House and Democrats Lost America,” by Josh Dowsey, Tyler Pager and Isaac Arnsdorf.
And so they resorted to holding ‘two telephones together on the speaker so that the rivals could talk’, said fragments that the Daily Beast published on Tuesday.
“Telephone service is not what it used to be,” Trump reportedly joked with Harris after they finally had to talk.
Harris, in the meantime, reportedly ‘had considered getting meaning [Trump’s] Don’t admit when things bleach the other way. ‘
Trump has of course never officially admitted the 2020 elections to President Joe Biden’s Nu formator and, to this day, wrongly claims that he was the real winner.
But in the end Harris only said: “The country was too divided and she hoped he would be a president for all Americans,” according to the book.
In Harris’ later concession speech at her Alma Mater, Howard University, the then president explained the importance of a peaceful transfer of power.
“A fundamental principle of American democracy is that when we lose an election, we accept the results,” she said. “That principle, just as much as any other, distinguishes democracy from monarchy or tyranny, and anyone looking for public confidence must honor,” said Harris, a dark purple suit and sounds choked at the top of her comments. “
Harris has turned up again several times to hit Trump since his return to the Oval Office in January.
The most striking thing is that last month they sentenced his efforts of the national guard to thwart protests against the immigration raids of his administration. It was part of a “cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division,” she denounced.
“The actions of this administration are not about public safety – they are about fear. Fear of a community that demands dignity and the right process,” she said at the time.
Last month, Harris closed Trump’s rates for ‘clearly inviting a recession’.
