NFL Network Analyst predicts that Saints will fall to the bottom of the competition

Adam Rank calls Saints a ‘Get Right’ game for every 2025 opponent

The New Orleans Saints have very few believers who enter the NFL season 2025. This is especially true in national circles. The newest and most serious lack of respect comes from Adam Rank, one of the writers of the NFL network. Rank has been at NFL.com since 1995 and an on-Airness at the NFL network since 2011. He is best known as a fantasy football analyst but also for bizarre NFL predictions.

This week Adam Rank gave his game-by game predictions for every NFL team, which you can see here. Rank predicts that the New Orleans Saints will end with a record of 2-15 and finally in the NFC South. To be honest, Rank contradicted himself when he had lost saints at home against the Atlanta Falcons in week 12, but had Atlanta loses in New Orleans when he made his predictions for the Falcons. Yet Rank let the saints end with the worst record in the NFL. Only the New York Giants (4-13), Cleveland Browns (4-13) and Tennessee Titans (5-12) had records with at least 12 losses together with New Orleans according to Rank.

Adam Rank’s predictions let the saints beat the New England Patriots and Chicago Bears in back-to-back competitions in weeks 6 and 7 for their only victories. It was interesting that Rank was projected that the bears would end with an 11-6 record and win the NFC North. After that upset about Chicago, he predicted that New Orleans would lose their last 10 games and be swept into the NFC South. That would be the first time that the saints had been swept into division games since 1996 when they ended with a record of 3-13. It would also mark the worst record in the 59-year history of the saints since their 1-15 disaster in 1980.

Rank hardly even paused when the New Orleans schedule runs through. He quickly shunned loss after loss while he only called a home game of week 5 against the Giants and week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers called as potential “profitable” matches. During his full predictions for each team, he would call New Orleans a “Get Right” match or “Homecoming” matchup for each team in their schedule.

Adam Rank predicted that the Carolina Panthers would win the NFC South with a record of 9-8. He projected that the Falcons and Buccaneers would end with 8-9 points before his conviction that the saints would end both in the bottom of the division and the NFL.
